Taught directly by Five Rings Dojo’s Head Coach, Roy Luxton, our Kids MMA program is sure to instill in your child discipline, respect, and give life long skills of self defence. In a fun but strict environment, we teach a range of self defence skills from Wrestling, Boxing, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
On Mondays the classes are based on Kickboxing techniques. Kids learn how to perform boxing combinations, use footwork, develop a strong guard and learn basic kicks.
Wednesday classes are all about Grappling. The students practice take downs and submissions as well as practice basic Gymnastics such as forward rolls and cartwheels.
Fridays are themed “Fitness and Fun” day. These classes consist of stretching, strength and fitness drills and finish off the week with a game.

Kids must wear clean clothes, bring a towel and water.
Fingernails and toenails must be cut, and any cuts or wounds covered.
